**Chess**
Today is the last day to sign up for the inaugural upper school student chess tournament.
The signup sheet has been shared with you via the Google Drive. To find it go to “shared
with me” and search for “Chess tournament sign up.” If you are interested in playing,
please enter your name by 3:30 p.m. The tournament will begin after Easter.
Students are reminded to exercise great care when taking out and putting away the chess
sets in the Learning Commons. If you appreciate having access to several complete sets,
please help preserve them by accounting for all the pieces and returning them to their
storage bags before leaving.

Would you like to view the new school day schedule? Or see a what a roster looks like in
the 8 daythat’s right8 day rotating schedule? Do you have questions about School
Community Time? Or what one period of a “Sliding Lunch” looks like?
We would like to publicize a forum for students to view the school day schedule, some
sample student rosters, the current community time proposal, and to interact with teachers
regarding these developments. The next opportunity will occur today during upper school
lunch periods. You can ask questions and voice any concerns about these proposed
changes. Look for the New Schedule Table in the Lunch Room.
**Learning Commons**
Please announce that the LC will be closed on the first day back from Easter Break,
Tuesday, April 22, from 7:30 until 10:00 a.m.
