Every year, the middle school has a Halloween party to celebrate and have fun. This event typically takes place in the cafeteria as the last event of the day. The Halloween party is put on by the Mother’s Club, which organizes everything from the decorations to the scheduling of the event. This event is put on to give the middle school students time to have fun with their peers and to enjoy their brotherhood before the holiday. This year, the Mother’s Club has revamped the event and made it a competition.
Many teachers and parents have participated in the Halloween party, one of these being Mr. Swope. After interviewing him, he stated, “I have played a valuable role in eating the candy to make sure it is safe.” Not only can kids have fun but teachers and parents also enjoy the Halloween party, such as Mrs. Detwiler, who commented, “I love seeing the kids get dressed up every year and their enthusiasm.” It’s great to see everyone enjoying the Halloween party in all different ways.
After a change up this year with challenges and prizes, another year is in the books.
