VIDEO: Interview with JV Water Polo Captain Billy Bevevino
It was a long day for the JV water polo team. Late entry after another
team’s withdrawal gave the JV team an opening, and did they ever impress. After
being admitted just a day before the first game of the Beast of the East
Tournament in Reading, PA and only having four substitutions, the JV squad went
on to win the championship game. It was thrilling and an excellent display of
dominance.
The future of Malvern water polo looks bright, with some prospects that
have some promising futures. Led by Coach Bruce Bronston, the JV water polo
team held their lead over many opponents, defeating LaSalle in the championship
game 7-2. The team has had solid Inter-Ac victories thus far, including a 7-5
win over Penn Charter.
