Morning Announcements 1.31.14
January 31, 2014
Good Morning Malvern! Today is Friday, January 31.
It is a Day 3, D Schedule.
**Intramural Results**
In the first intramural handball game, the senior led team Dirty Mark and the Boys
defeated the sophomore led team Roman’s Empire. The seniors were led by the
powerful offense of Jeff Hagen and Brendan McPoyle, and the tenacious defense
of Mark Palmarella and Justin Coyle helped seal a close 11-10 victory over the
sophomores. The game went down to the wire and ended with the senior Mike Davis
scoring the game winning goal.
In the second game, team Roman Empire played another game against the senior led
Las Vegas PD. The sophomores suffered another disappointing loss, as Nick Leasure
and Chris Browns offense wasn’t enough to stop the seniors from capturing another win.
The St.Amours and Brendan Hallinan led the team to a close 10-9 win.
**Distinguished Speaker Series**
On March 27, Malvern will host its second Distinguished Speaker Series event featuring
