Good Morning, Malvern! Today is Wednesday, March 6.

**Speech and Debate**

The members of the speech and debate team will meet today in Carney 303 to prepare

for the tournament at Rustin on March 13th. If you would like to compete but you

cannot attend today’s meeting, please see or email Mrs. Kenworthey.

**Football Jackets**

The Championship Football Jackets have arrived and are ready to be picked up in the

Campus Store.

**Dress Code**

Students are reminded that they are required to report to homeroom in Malvern dress

code.

**Tennis Try-outs**

Coaches Anthony DeCecco and David DiLucia will hold Varsity & JV Tennis Team try-
outs today at 3:30pm in the O’Neill Gym. Players should wear sneakers and bring a

tennis racket.

**Student Council**

Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors: Please remember to vote for the

student council executive board members for the 2014-2015 school year. Voting will

take place this Friday, March 7, during 5th

know you will be absent on Friday, please contact Ms. Lohse or Dr. Dlugos or stop by

Carney 205 to fill in an absentee ballot.

Candidate speeches for President, Vice President, Secretary and Events Chair will take

place today..

**Learning Commons**

On Friday, there will be renovations and upgrades taking place in the LC. Space will be

limited during study halls, lunches, and the other periods of the school day. Only the

front half of the main room will be accessible during this time.

**Water Polo**

Tomorrow, March 7, during break – 10am sharp – there will be a brief but very important

meeting for all water polo athletes currently in grades 8 through 11.

Coach Schiller will review some important information regarding spring and summer

water polo, including schedules, and will also introduce the team to its captains for the

2014 season!

Snacks will be served.

Please see Coach Schiller if you cannot attend.

**Rocky**

The Arts Department has another trip to New York City on March 19th to see

“Rocky”

The price is terrific: $106 for transportation, Staten Island Ferry, lunch at Planet

Hollywood, and the show. There are 44 seats available. Make your reservations online

now to book your seat!

**Intramurals**

The Intramural Spring Sport is 4 on 4 basketball! Each team will pick a college team as

their name.

Sign-Ups end March 17. Games begin March 18.

Only one player with varsity experience or two JV players are allowed on a team.

There will be a Shot clock during the final 3 minutes of play.

Players who play a spring sport sign up at your own convenience, we will not schedule

around you!

Please email Jack St. Amour with your rosters and college team name by the end of the

sign-up period.

**Morning Announcements**

If you have an announcement for the broadcast, please send it to

by 8:00 a.m.

Also, if you miss the broadcast, you may read the daily announcements in the “Morning
