“[Voting for the first time] was pretty exciting. Regardless of what my options were, it felt really cool to be participating in one of the rights our country has. It was a pretty cool experience.
There weren’t many people there when I went because I went in the morning, and when I was there, a lot of people were asking me if it was my first time voting because I guess it’s pretty clear I’m not really an age where I would have voted before. Everyone was just congratulating me.
There were some people there supporting more like state representatives and they were encouraging me to participate and they were happy I came out.”

Well done Turner. Have friends in there 60’s who had the experience of voting for the first time and a family from South Korea who became citizens they yearend were able to vote for the first time. They both expressed a joy in participating in the process that really is an American event.
